Trump Shot In Assassination Attempt During Rally

A shooting at a rally for former President Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, left two attendees injured and the alleged shooter dead, prompting a swift response from Secret Service agents and raising concerns about safety at political events.
Gunfire erupted during Trump's speech, with reports of up to five shots fired, leading to immediate chaos.
Trump was quickly escorted off the stage by Secret Service agents, appearing shaken but composed despite visible injuries.
Donald Trump Jr. reassured the public about Trump's condition, stating he was in good spirits and committed to fighting against the "radical left."
President Joe Biden expressed relief over Trump's safety and condemned the violence, calling for national unity.
The Secret Service is conducting an active investigation and reviewing security protocols in light of the incident.

LOCAL POLITICS
Democratic Representatives Scott Peters and Mike Levin have joined calls for President Joe Biden to withdraw from the presidential race, citing concerns over his debate performance and electoral viability.
Representatives Peters and Levin, both Democrats from California, urged Biden to step down due to doubts raised by his debate performance against Donald Trump.
Levin became the 19th congressional Democrat to formally call for Biden's withdrawal, following a direct request during a caucus call.
Peters issued his statement after a crucial press briefing where concerns over Biden's age and campaign effectiveness were highlighted.
Both representatives praised Biden's past leadership but emphasized the need for a new candidate who can secure victory in swing states.
Despite calls from within his party, Biden has reaffirmed his intent to remain in the presidential race.

My name is Christian Garcia, and I run this local newsletter. I have lived in Carlsbad my whole life. Going to college in a vastly different area helped me realize how lucky we have it here in Southern California!
Because of this, I wanted to give back to the community I grew up in and start a local newsletter that would help bring the people of North County together and keep you updated on everything that’s happening in America’s finest city.
